So You’re Listing Your House

Now that we’re a team on selling your house
lets go over some things that are important to
know.  We will be marketing your house, which
means we are investing in advertising to let
buyers know that your house is available.
When they come to see your house its important
that they get to see it at its best.
Make sure the yard is mowed and neat.
Trim bushes and clean up debris.
Make sure the electricity is on.  No one wants to
be sweating or freezing when they are looking
at a house and many buyers view in the
evening, which is difficult in a dark house.  The
buyers may cut their visit short and you could
lose an interested buyer.  Make sure the water
is on.  They will want to see that there aren’t any
leaks, that the toilets work and they may have a
need to wash their hands.  If you are aware of
any “smells”, please try to clean the area it may
be coming from or if its just from being "closed
up",  invest in some plug-in air fresheners.
